Wakering over 60’s travelled to Chelmsford for the final round of matches against Grays FC and Little Oakley 29 October 2019. Wakering were crowned champions after winning their final 2 matches finishing 8 points clear and with a vastly superior goal difference.
Wakering 60’s remain top of the table with 41 points and with a goal difference of 32 after the latest round of matches 18 September 2019. Mathematically Wakering cannot be caught and await to be crowned champions 29 October 2019.
John Burkett has been chosen by the over 70’s South East England manager as the team captain for the National tournament of England regional teams 7 September 2019. Both John and the club are proud of the honour he has been given to lead the South East England team.
Wakering WFC played the South East Regional Final of the WFA 60’s National Cup against Eastwood Falcons 31 August 2019 and run out convincing winner’s 4-1.
