Name: John Burkett Position: Midfield Bio: I started playing football for my school teams and local youth club in London. I trained at Leyton Orient until I moved to Hockley in Essex after getting married. I signed for Epping Town in the Isthmian league before becoming player manager of Rochford Town in the Essex Intermediate League. Following my managerial stint I played for several premier division clubs in the Borough Combination before starting my own team which won the Charity Cup until I hung up my boots aged 55. I now play walking football for Wakering WFC. I currently captain the Essex Walking Football League over 65's representative side. I am proud to say that I was selected into the England over 70's South East Region team as Captain. |

As a Civil Servant, I played for the Civil Service team in London with ex Manchester United and Plymouth Argyle footballers which made me a better footballer and to become team captain. I moved to Westcliff-on-Sea in 1988 playing for Customs and Excise in Southend, managed by Bill Garner and Tony Brady before moving on to play for Leigh Rambler Vets, Ambleside, Great Wakering Rovers and Basildon United. I am currently a squad member of the England over 60’s Walking Football South Eastern Region team and the current captain of the Essex Walking Football League 60's Representative side. |

Name: Alan Kumrou Position: Goalkeeper Bio: Started playing at the age of 11 in 1965 for Alexander Boys club, in my second game I was offered school boy contract at Chelsea FC. by Tommy Dockerty then the Chelsea manager. 2 years later as released by the new manager Dave Sexton. Played for several NON-LEAGUE CLUBS, and in 1980 retired from playing and took up managing after a serious back injury, Grasshoppers, Ridgeway Rovers, and Romford where just a few teams I had success with. A chance meeting in 2016, with my friend Dave Williams, who invited me to join Arsenal in the new walking football team, this lead to plenty of success winning 10 walking football tournaments playing 40 tournament games, winning 39, 1 draw, and only conceding 3 goals And keeping a record 36 clean sheets. This lead to being selected for the Arsenal 11 a side Charity side, playing along side Arsenal greats, Liam Brady, Chris Whyte, Ray Parlour, and Robert Pires. 2019 started with more Success as I was selected for the Essex over 60s league side, and England SE over 60s side, and in June 2019 was crowned national champions with my team mate Paul Pinch, as we helped our England side win the National championship winning all 5 games and conceding no goals, another Record set in 2019. | Name: Walter Previ Position: Goalkeeper Bio: |
