Wakering 60’s Blacks played the 3rd round of the Essex Walking Football League tournament at Chelmsford and remain unbeaten with 3 wins and a draw. The first match saw Wakering trounce Eastwood Falcons Blues 6-0 with a brace from Paul Tregent and goals from, Andrew Douglas, Paul Pinch, Mark Withers and Gary Jackson.
Wakering had a much harder match against Cheshunt who they beat 1-0 with a well taken goal by Paul Tregent. Next was a 2-0 win over Leyton Orient with goals from Mark Withers and Andrew Douglas. The final match saw Wakering and Garons play out a very good goalless draw. Both sides went close with good efforts superbly saved by their respective goalkeepers.
