Wakering 60’s go out of National Cup on penalties

Wakering 60’s played away to Eastwood Falcons 60’s in the second round of the National Cup, losing on penalties after extra time, drawing 1-1. Eastwood missed their first penalty to give Wakering the advantage. Wakering then missed their second penalty to level up the score to 3-3. Wakering missed their sudden death penalty to hand Eastwood the victory.

Wakering Walking Football Club is dedicated to promote the health of men over the age of 50 by providing weekly training sessions every Friday evening between 7.00pm-8.00pm and Saturday 9.00am - 10.00am played on 3G pitches of the highest standards at Garons Park Eastern Ave, Southend-on-Sea SS2 4FA.

The club is fully affiliated to the WFA and EWFL to play in the over 50's & 60’s Essex Walking Football League, Age UK Cup, Prostate Cup, Peoples Cup and the National Cup.

We are currently looking to register new players for the 2021 season which starts in May 2021.
