Wakering’s first match was against Conard Dynamos United who gave them a good test. Both sides cancelled each other out with Conard winning 1 – 0
Wakering’s second match was against the weaker Concord Blues who could not get to grips with Wakering’s superior passing game. Bantin rattled in 3 with Willis adding another to run out 4 – 0 winners.
Wakering’s final match was against the much stronger Concord Yellows with Wakering riding their luck for much of the match. Keeper Walter Previ made several outstanding saves keeping Wakering in the match until they were awarded a free kick which was accurately dispatched by Willis with power which the Concord keeper could not keep out ensuring Wakering won the match 1 – 0
