Wakering 70’s took part in the newly formed EWFL 70’s league at Melbourne Park Chelmsford 20 April 2022.
Wakering in their all new black kit played 3 matches, first against Billericay who they beat 4-0, then against Paringdon Pirates winning 2-0 and the final match against Grays winning 1-0
Goal scorers were Billy Tyrrell 4, Bob Harper 2 and Terry Woodgate 1
