Wakering are pleased to announce that SE England 60’s player Paul Tregent and SE England 70’s player Eddie Melvin have joined the club. Their signings are seen as progressive to the clubs ambitions.

Pino Schisano has been selected into the 70’s SE Region England squad which both he and the club are proud of. The club now has 5 players representing England.

Peter Henry has won an International cap for representing England against Greece in Crete on 19 October 2019.  Both he and the club are extremely proud of the achievement.

Following the Covid-19 lockdown easing,  all Wakering teams are now ready to start competitive training in accordance with the club’s risk assessment and comprehensive guidance plan to ensure that all players maintain good health.

Wakering invited Arsenal to Eastwoodbury Lane 7th March 2020 for a rematch after playing them at the Emirates. Wakering 50’s run out 1-0 winners-Wakering 60’s fought out a well contested 1-1 draw- Wakering 60’s A playing their first competitive match lost 3-0

Wakering the current Essex Champions and Wakering A newly formed 60’s side both were unbeaten in the first round of tournaments at Lakeside on 12th Match 2020.
